The Smart Card Reader Drivers - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone

More and more threads started in the section about reader drivers.

Lets make things clear:

There is no card-reader drivers in 4SE setup, because originally its shipped with SCR3310 USB Smart Card Reader which has native support for XP, Vista, Win7 and not requires any external drivers.
If you have another reader you need to install corresponding driver before use it with 4SE software.

Here is drivers for some common card-readers:
Omnikey - USB CCID Smart Card Reader (USB\VID_076B&PID_A021) x86 / x64 (mirror: x86 / x64)

Feitian - USB FT SCR2000 (USB\VID_096E&PID_0005) x86 / x64 (mirror: x86 / x64)

SCM - SCR3310 USB Smart Card Reader (USB\VID_04E6&PID_5116) x86 / x64 (mirror: x86 / x64)

Alcor Micro Corp. - AU9540 USB Smart Card Reader (USB\VID_058F&PID_9540) x86 / x64 (mirror: x86 / x64)

In case you have other one - contact your reader supplier for a drivers.

And please post picture of opened cardreader along with screenshot of device manager. After you press "Search for hardware changes"

When you connect your 4se dongle in usb port directly - NO HUB or enything, does this device manager made any moves? (re-list it self)

If no - you need to go on Action tab and SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES!!! If than there is no re-list or change in device manager tree.

1. Do same action on other usb ports on your PC, and another PC afterwards if yours does not recognize device.

2. Test that port with usb memory stick/key to see if port comunicate at all.

3. Report here.

My mate bought a 4s key from Gultek here in the uk.

He can't can't get the reader tow work. Its this one here For Sale 4SE Sony Ericsson Unlocker Dongle - No need for costly credits, unlocking is free and unlimited :: Unlocking Boxes :: Gultek Limited.

It's from gpg. Does anyone know what drivers these use?

why not give some auto instaler driver pack...like cpf box do...

this day auto is b0omming

Because its not box (same hardware by all customers)
But the cardreader could differs
