I was wondering if SETools supports unlocking for
new MSM8x55 phones manufactured after 12W10?
And if I upgraded to v1.204 (20 credits for unlimited) does it require credits for each unlock
and internet connection to server, like 4SE dongle?

(I still can't decide between 4SE and SETool)

both tools are on same issue, if their access to semc s1 server is blocked, no way to unlock.

that is not on product supporters hands.

Buy both, and once in a while one will have access, the other time the other have access and so on.

You always need credits on both tools, but as the_laser said, buy just enough credits that you need cause server can come offline at any time, so catch the moment.

No tool support new Xperia manufactured after 12w10 for free even if you buy this activation this nothing change still not supported.

To unlock new phones yes you need credits and online server , right now both server are off. Mean is impossible to unlock this new models by any tools not important witch you want use.

Who is running this signature server?
On setools forums I was told 4SE and SETools use different servers.
What about Octopus?

s1 servers are from semc.

Basically boxes access it through dongles of official center, but when semc detects it, they block the dongle of the repair center, that's why it never lasts.

To be clear it's not the servers that are offline, but only the hacked access
