Question how to sense bb current consumption


hello to all,
does anybody knows how to sense
current consumption in a blackberry?

they doesnt turn on with power supply and we see
a crossed battery.

external power supply equipped with volt and amp meter. simple

Crossed battery is normally faulty battery or middle housing. Have you tested the small ic's at battery connector on pcb.

i need to sense current consumption with cellphone turned on . i need to check is there is excessive battery drain in use . with power supply i can not turn on cellphone

Sorry chaceco but as cal_guy said you just need a power supply and an amp meter. You just have to check what happens in the tester when the phone has a consumption
