Sir
I have 9800 torch. Phone is dead.Red light blinks in every 3 second, it blink 4 time in 2 second. I tried it with software but it is not connect computer (no message of new hardware found or other)
please reply.

brother try it in blackberry desktop manager.. to update... it will read it and fix ur phone.. and plz post result... tnx

You can try to fix the USB driver IC first.... rehot, reball, or change...
Than, if it already detected by computer, you can flash your BB

good uption change the flex (the slide flex)
