9900 SOS in 3G

Any solution ? Signal is weak ( about -77 dBm at 100m from a tower )

2G works flawlessly

-77 dbm is good signal strength.
Higher the number = lower signal strength

It's -77dBm when i'm at 100m from the radio tower, facing it !
However i don't know if this means anything as the signal can be strong but low quality.

I'm certain many people have this issue

Fix: poor 3G, SOS mode and reception - BlackBerry Forums Support Community

Might be a solution for some people, i'll try to change my antenna.

However, I noticed that when i put my sim in another smartphone, then in my bb i get lowercase 3g, 5 bars, but i can't surf ( probably the tower is still linked to the smartphone so no blackberry services ) then i turn off signal, then on and straight to 3G...

This is why i thought it's software but after full wipe it doesn't change anything
