Member: 1705222 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | BB 9700 charging problem Hello, I hope someone can help me with a charging problem. The phone starts up ok and appears to charge, but after a few minutes, underneath the keypad gets very hot. If I let it cool down, remove the charger and put a newly charged battery in, again the keypad gets very hot as well as the battery. This phone has had a little bit of water damage (the initial problem) and I have cleaned what I could see. 1) Where is the best place to look to fix it (which components or measurements)? 2) How do I easily remove the shielding screens? Thanks in advance |

Member: 1702866 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | hi can any1 please help me. i have a blackberry 9300 curve that has been dropped in water. when it was dropped it was still working fine but all of a sudden it dies and it is now not turning on even when i do a battery pull the red light dont show. but when i plug it in the mains chargerthe red light lights up and turns on to a picture of a battery with a red cross across it. i have tried a diff battery and still no joy, when i opened it to check the inside it looks like the main board has a scratch on it, it looks like it may be missing some component but i dont have another mainboard to compare it to. can any1 please post a zoomed in picture of a 9300 curve mainboard. please see pic for which part looks missing. thanks. http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/5332/bb930015.jpg |
