Member: 1468994 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 27 | the problem is keyboard doesn't work removed all the diodes nothing, jumpers in 1905, 1906, 1907 and nothing works, when use the multimeter in resistance show 0.000 (short circuit) another solution? to fix this? if no tell me or i throw that motherboard in the trash bin |

Also remove side key diode D2400, D2401, D2402. And lock key diode D2406. Also check inner and outter of every key you get same reading in multimeter's (Diode function).if get any change than trace that line.Does touch work fine? | |

Member: 2574137 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi ! I know this thread is old, but I have a similar issue with my Q5 : "delete" key doesn't work. All other keys are fine. Should I remove the diodes you mentionned before ? I'm no electronic expert, but it seems weird to remove a component : what is the use of these diodes ? Should I short-circuit these diodes, or just remove it (open circuit) ? Thanks for your help !! |
