bb 9800 menu,call & end call not working - GSM-Forum

hi everybody have solution for call end & menu key,i change flex cable,pcb sub keypad,clean pcb but no response.pls share a solution if possible

try to update firmware. if not solve then cheak hardware

Take another 9800, swap out the pcd to see if your original lcd assembly is the failure..

Possible LCD flex cable / possible internal flex failure or corrosion in the flex connector underneath the end send button..

Work your way up if you don't have a 40x microscope..

process of elimination and common sense.

i try in another device only pcb its working so whats the reason

Possible flex problem.. Good sign your PCD is good if all works.

check possible corrosion under end and send

take apart small black cover

use a microscope if rust

check inside keypad (up)...
or check other key (volume,camera,unlock,mute & touch pad)
problem will be solve.

lol cant u see what he said this brother chk another pcb on same and working fine so this means not prob on flex button cable all fine problem on pcb keypad ic...but there are 5 keypad cuplers near connecter 4 down one up, i dont know which one is for upper keyboard if anyone knows share or share symantec
