What is the solution for this?. Is a camera problem (module) or camera socket? (BB 9900)

hi! my 9900 can't come up, red light shows no doubt but can't initialize. I've tried flashing it but when it gets to "wait for device initialization" it won't make it. it shows charging when a battery is inserted and plugged to power, don't know what else to do... thinking of soaking the panel in a fuel and heating it after, pls will that help or worsen the situation? i need help!
