Hello bablu. I have to confess that i don't have tools and less eyes to test the mini connectors of the USB, besides i don't know how is a safe way to remove the little metal cover behind the usb port where the components are located. But before i get the way to do that i need to make a question: is it normal that the internal batt has only 0.5 Volts?. Could it cause this led red issue?. The rare thing is that some days ago it had 0.8 Volts. seems that it is loosing charge and the only thing i did was trying to fix it with software several times. Thanks !!
