Step 1: I have one bb9900 dead it just does the red light when the battery located on a very hot U1303 POWER
* Step 2: I removed the screen, POWER U1303 not hot, still red light
Step 3: connected to a computer with the PIN code, but when flash it it no longer receives a PIN code
I have replaced the IC POWER U1303. 's still in step 1
hardware solution please

to hard found good power ic. i try to change 5 times still failed. when i change the crystal oscylator , thats work .... 10000% work.....

some times need change both of them

than post where you not getting proper voltage.
ONE more step i forgot to discribe for dead 9900 is two most important voltage of crstall or oscillator X1202.look in image
you have to work hard in any mobile.

Got one 9900 pcb in no power and vreg_s3_1p8 is shorting to gnd... traced all caps along this line, but still shorting

insert battery and also charger in mobile at least 3 to 10 minute and check which portion is heating more than normal mobile in all section where vreg_1p8 is used except power IC (pmic). at last change pmic if other section is not getting heated.
