I've made quite many such a repairs, in my opinion you should increase temperature to make it more easy, above that good quality video bro!

If you increase temperature you'll cause irreversible damage to the mother board, so I think it is not a good idea.

Can I make it with only hot air gun, is it safe to provide such repair with such an equipment?

Baladeva 06-05-2017 06:58

muhamalak you need professional tools, there is no other way, using hot air you will destroy the mother board!

I have replace the sim slot but now I get no signal network, what can I do?

Baladeva 06-19-2017 06:54

It is probably due to the mainboard defect, I solve many network problems by replacing IC, here is the exemplary video:

What kind of flux should I use?

muhamalak 08-19-2017 07:49

I reccomend HF Rework Jelly Flux, very good flux for soldering on mainboard

I need to stick the chip cover to tha mainboard, what adhesive do you reccomend?

milek12 09-15-2017 07:05

I also have trouble with adhesives they are mostly to weak to keep the back cover to the frame. Almost all back covers are coming off, need some solution!

You can sratch the ground portion near the part of the cover you want to hold in place and then apply solder to connect the part to the board for strong support.

I agree. The back cover wont hold if you don't clean the frame properly, use the proper liquid.
