9900 have same problem i change the power ic but same
and i can not detect the phone by blackberry master control Device pin always none,,, but phone connecting with desktop mannager and app loader
i tried to connected on phone but device pin is also none
plz help me

Hi, i have searched many forums looking for a solution to my problem, i have BB 9900 and over night my phone has suddenly become bricked with a black screen and red flashing light and also makes a popping sound every 10/15 seconds. i have tried the app loader.exe solution and BBSAK solution. Is their any way of fixing this problem or is it dead phone, please help

can you tell me sollution red blink with this step from another posting

or can work this step :

- Load Ram Images
- send command WIPE EFS but this need sign in RTAS permission
- Load MFI
- Load NVD need sign in RTAS permission
- Release OS / Load SFI + APP / upgrade from loader.

Most of you this solution will not work because your phone's signature is
missing and rtas has to be bypassed to fix that.

Hi rnasirali,

I did the steps bellow, but the device keeps reconnecting to JVM and failed.
1. wipe. BTW, I found out why wipe always aborted before, this is because the timeout set is 30s, if I change to 100s. then the sectors will be erased more. Finally I use erase command to erase the total OS Fixed, UMP Fixed, FS Fixed parts.
2. execute MFI9930.exe. then the screen shows No application linked, Factory OS.
3. execute load/nojvm. But it keeps reconnecting to JVM and failed.

The question is :
I searched lots of solutions. some said that not only the FS parts, EFS parts should also be erased. But I can't erase this part(Modem EFS and App EFS) using CFP because they're securied sectors.
Now I don't know what to do nexe, I have tried many times but failed.

BTW, I want to try the method to erase Modem EFS sectors, but I don't know what tool support this. Seems Nemesis QCEFS can be used to erase this part. But I can't find this tool.

when you are repairing red blinking don't involve your self in rtas just you need a good cfp , perfect mfi loader ,if possible a proper auto loader don't get confused
by mixing other things here we have to bypass this area. when u r trying to release a block device that time you have to thing about this area ( new security area of blocked devices or mep 0 )
