Member: 2404828 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | DEAD Blackberry Z10, YOU MUST READ THIS. A lot of variants exist to get them going and one final resort is to replace the blackberry Z10 U2002 PM8921 power IC. Don't bother to even try, it is fixed on with a very hard and heat resistant epoxy. The only way to get these chips off is with a sledge hammer or micro grinder; either method will destroy the handset PCB. I went to the effort to to try because I have some important technical photso on my 16Gig NVRAM and of course It was a waist of time. Now I am considering to look at direct connection to the NVRAM to see if its possible to hot wire it to a card reader. I suspect the 16G NVRAM is also glued onto the PCB too. If anyone knows a way to read the NVRAM, please let me know. Thanks |
