Member: 2349489 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Optical trackpad connector How do you guys solder to really small stuff? I have two options: [1] This connector type thing, about 1cm in length (.39"), that I don't have a female plug for. It appears it doesn't exist. [2] Or this ribbon that I have no idea how I could solder something on there. These pads seem a tad bigger than those pins. (EDIT: I'm afraid I can't post links to the images. That *****. ) (Google images: "blackberry optical trackpad connector". You will see the ones with a plug and the ribbon type.) Also, I suck at soldering, so if you have any idea how to connect to this trackpad, suggestions are welcome. I'm beginning to see why I couldn't find anybody successfully interfacing one of these. Thanks. Last edited by solidox; 02-19-2015 at 19:42. |
