How To Flash Your HTC Phones With GsmCocktail ( Guide )

Hi Friends ,

I have seen many of friends are stuck flashing HTC Phones stuck on logo & other problems , because of they don't know which file is correct for their phone.
Let me explain you,what you have to do first when you get htc in your shop.

1st of all u need to put your phone in fastboot mode it is simple by pressing volume down + power button your phone will go into hboot mode then pressing power button again you will go in fastboot mode which is show on screen too like show in pic below



now when u go in fastboot mode put cable inside phone and install drivers which is adb drivers u can found drivers easily in gsmcocktail support or download it from here : http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f754...014-a-1697080/

after installing drivers open HTC Android Tool click read info button



after getting read info u need to focus on 3 things
1st Security is on or off you can see this on fastboot as well
2nd device country
3rd main version

if your security is on ( S-ON ) then you need to use this method

you need to make sure both things should be correct for your rom which u want to download from support for flash your phone with gsmcocktail dongle

you can download from shell easily or u can download it from support too

once you found your correct rom matched with device country cid and main version you will be able to flash your rom .

and if your phone security is off ( S-Off) then you dont have to match both things u can flash it with any rom any main version etc

Note : if you do not found your correct rom matched with device counrty or main version or you found rom like main version is ok but device country is not same then rom will not work so in that case you need to use the cmw method custom rom flashing guide posted below
