Blacklisted IMEI works?

Hi, I have a iPhone 5c locked to O2 UK and barred (blacklisted). Bought the x-sim evo 2.5, installation goes as it should (used IMSI 2341091) along with a vodafone portugal sim card. When it tells me to reboot the phone, in settings I can see network is "vodafone pt". After reboot I get the activation required screen and it tells me the sim is not valid. I get no network also. Is there anything that can be done or blaclisted imeis don't work at all?

First than all, how you know that the phone is blacklisted?? Second, if you are sure, Blacklisted IMEIS normally doesnt works, no matter if full unlocked or unlock sim way unlocked, because are blocked from Apple and reported to several providers on world or their databases. But, there are another ones that doesnt use the databases so you can use on that.

Thak you for the reply. I'm sure it is barred, I have the checkmend report. So trying another carrier and hoping it works is the only way to use the card right? And btw, no other card (like r-sim) works for barred imeis?
