Member: 2091615 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | just want to share my experience updating my sprint ip5 to iOS 8.1 it was a success first i did is to download only in itunes the software update (because i have 2 ip5) 8.1 next is i updated my first ip5 just to make sure that it will work on my sprint so it did next is to jailbreak after succesfull jailbreak update cydia first if any from cydia download ifile in ifile get to system "/system/ library/ carrier bundles/ iphone" in there find the Sprint_LTE_US. bundle erase it pop up the XSIM and remove your xsim and put your regular sim without XSIM ...wait for failed activation.... put it all back in with XSIM again your phone should say iphone activated and thats it * Off course turn on Data Roaming option in General/Cellular Data update your sprint in your own read before you click research first before updating Important note: DO NOT ACCEPT Carrier update from iPhone or iTunes, or you'll have again Sprint settings which disables SMS and 3G. im using XSIM |
