Member: 1882219 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | X-SIM problem I recently ordered an X-SIM to the UK, and tried it out tonight. I am using an iPhone 4S, and put in my O2 sim with the X-SIM, entered the code 2341590, and I got no service. I tried with a different sim other than my O2 one, I tried restoring the phone, but nothing seems to be making a difference. The carrier settings do not show up on the main Settings menu on the iPhone, so I am unable to manually select a carrier, if that has anything to do with it. Also, if I go Settings, General, About and then Network I get a message of 'SIM not allowed.' I was assured a few days ago on these forums that this SIM card would work with my phone, baseband and network. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks, George. |

Yes I have access to the IMSI under SAM Details in the SAM application. I no longer have the original SIM card, I only know it is locked to Vodafone because I used an old Vodafone SIM card to activate it. | |
