I can't understand the title of the post:

What is the problem with MC60 cable? And why the topic is about some SW? What are you talking about, guys?

The problem is that the cable doesn't seem to work unlocking the mc60 for some people. don't think anyone knows exactly why yet. can someone from the uk tell me where they bought a cable which worked to unlock the mc60?

Maybe,there are different PCBs in phones...cables are OK

If cable works with x55 phones, then it WILL work with x60 phones.

As for new PCB type - yes, there is new PCB type with bootcore bug patched (for C60).... No more direct unlocking without testpoints.....

I think it's basically that you can'tuse a genuine siemens cableto unlockyour phone. I've just got a cheap cable by a third party and it works.
