How to get your MSL or SPC from your Sprint Galaxy S4 4.2.2 m

lol. Don't worry I'm sure he will show up, to the rescue, with a 4.2.2 script for these devices..(Tried to pm him but I guess you probably can't pm Super Mods hehe)

Just a heads up here...I happen to run across a S4 on 4.2.2 that was asking for the msl just to put the phone into diagnostic mode(##3424#)... went to Play Store and got the Get My MSL app and it retrieved the msl no problem at all.

Not to mention, the 4.1.2 script apparently works fine on 4.2.2, at least most of the time.

yes the get my msl app worked when the 4.1.2 script did on the s4 4.2.2 that I tried

It does work but make sure you do ##data# and enter the wrong password first then use the Getmymsl app. otherwise it will not give you the msl

I have the verizon I545 and I don't get the option to enter a wrong password after ##data#. It let's me edit away.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Well for one the Verizon S4 is 000000 no need to use this method

Thanks. I'll stop beating my head on this. I'm stuck getting CDMA Workshop communicate with the phone. If my SPC is already 0, I have the password, I'm missing something as all i get is "failed" when trying to communicate with the phone.

Yep, I'm in DM Mode. I see the 3 ports in Device manager. I select the lower of the 2 serial ports.

None of those apps work anymore!!! They do not look in the right place for the s4. You have to unlock your phone then use this link
