Actually you do not need a donor to get keys/passwords... I know I do them everyday, they will pull in themselves if you do things correctly......

Not that I don't believe you Viper, because I do, I know you know your stuff...Plus, there have been a few times where I myself, for one reason or another, was unable to load the 3g "key" and some how the phone would end up showing evdo....

My thing is, I just wish someone would make a tutorial, or just explain how exactly to do it...because I still have no clue how it happened. Maybe I was just doing things "correctly" and didn't realize how much I really was lol. ( Maybe it's different for Sprint to Boost, I don't know, but I always have to use a 3g donor ). Thanks for any help you can offer.

I tried bro ... wait a minute aint you from xda?... i have only manage to get 3g with donor phone at this point

... but its no problem with me i guess ...samsung, lg's... htc are piece of cake ... but i hate motorola's lol

i just flashed my Sprint HTC design with fla****now flashing software, i followed your steps to check the data status it does say EVDO. I even downloaded a speedtest app I am getting 2.1mg down and only 856kbps upload.

Trust me when I say, you do not need any form of donor phone

. I can tell you all the major flashing software don't require them and do in indeed get 3g on PP

. I'd be happy to answer any questions via PM

I can also get 3G without no donor phone Just by having a Verzion prl ... But sometimes not everything gets programmed OTA ...

Sprints require a special process. 3g VZW doesnt. Not 100% on 4g VZW but I do it to be safe.

Cricket and Metro dont require donor... but PP will need one to get the best 3G...

PP DOES NOT need a donor, I wish people would stop spreading that lie...If that was the case every Verizon phone would need another phone to work. It's been thoroughly documented around the web as well how to do it.
