Need 16 digit password for SPH-L900 (Sprint Note2)

I have used the Samsung default (01F2030F5F678FF9) to unlock several of them..Now this particular one says the password is incorrect??

After digging the only thing I came up with was that after a update, apparently the 16 digit password (samsung default) was changed. A few have mentioned that this would work 2010031619780721 but it doesn't.

I also tried the "Test" mode to unlock it, it said "151 passwords were incorrect" no luck there. As well as trying all of the passwords compiled on a large list from another thread on this site, no luck there either.

Got another Note2 today with 4.1.1, it unlocked fine in CDMAWS, using the samsung default.. So it's definitely this 4.1.2 update.

I have flashed at least 25 note 2 phones and I have run into the same problem with the new update. Please let me know if you find out the password and I will do the same.

Well the hunt may be futile...As I mentioned I've been hunting relentlessly for this password, and finally on another website, and granted I have no clue if this guy was theorizing or if he actually knew this as fact(it seemed to me he was stating it as if he knew it as fact)...But he claims that this new update is Samsung's attempt at stopping their phones from being "modified" and that there is no new password.

I find that hard to believe, but the way things have been going lately its definitely a possibility. I guess time will tell. If/when I find out what that passcode is I will definitely come back here and post it for anyone who needs it..please do the same.

Yep, in the process of downgrading now to the 4.1.1(Note2) software....On the Note2 it's the Build L900VPAMA7 4.1.2 that is the problem. The only solution is to downgrade.

Downgrade was successful, used the first 4.1.1 Stock rom that was released for the Note2. It (finally)took the password, and I flashed the phone.

The 16 exists. I know, I found it by hand. I'm sure the makers of WS already have it as well

i forget which one it is but use the i920 or i500 option in the drop down menu from the password area. do test first, if it fails disconnect rfom the port and reconnect and try the other.

If you found it, why wouldn't you post it? This forum is here so that we can ask Pluton for help with his software when we need help. What benefit would it serve you to not post it...this kind of activity usually means you don't have it or are confused about what we are referring to.(How exactly do you find a 16 digit password "by hand" anyways? )

BTW, if Pluton had the password, and I was a betting man, my money would be on him posting it. Besides, if he doesn't know it, you would be helping him (and all of us) by posting so that he can add it into the next update.

16 digit passcode for sph-l-710 and 900

just downgrade to 4.1.1 and use the default passcode.
Then after the esn is changed....let it install update 4.1.2...no worries!

That is correct, the 4.1.2 update was a way to stop their phones from being modified, the same goes for the S3 on 4.1.2. You have to downgrade then flash and update and redo the mms settings. The reason for this is in the Kernel.
