Verizon/Sprint/USCellular S3/S4/Note 2 Diag Modes and 16 Digit Passwords


Maybe this will help some of you looking for this information.....

I will update as needed, one of the phones updated to 4.1.2 the diag mode method changed, to early in the morning right now, I will update it later....

16 Digit Passwords:

USCC S3 2010031619780721

Verizon S3 2009031920090615

Sprint S3 01F2030F5F678FF9 or 2012112120131219


Sprint SPH-L710 (Galaxy S III) and SPH-L900 (Note 2)

Open Dialer enter ##3424#
When PhoneUtil Opens Select PDA
Tap Qualacomm USB Setting
Select DM+Modem+ADB
Tap OK
(Remember after flashing to return and put phone back to MTP+ADB)

Verizon ]SPH-I535 (Galaxy S III) and SCH-I605 (Note 2)

Open Dialer enter *#22745927
When Enable/Disable Menu comes up tap "Hidden Menu Disabled"
Select "Enable" on Popup
Press Home button
Open Dialer
Dial **87284
When PhoneUtil Opens Select PDA
Tap Qualacomm USB Setting
Select DM+Modem+ADB
Tap OK
(Remember after flashing to return and put phone back to MTP+ADB)

USCellular SCH-R530 U (Galaxy S III) and SCH-R950 (Note 2)

Open Dialer enter *#22745927
When Enable/Disable Menu comes up tap "Hidden Menu Disabled"
Select "Enable" on Popup
Press Home button
Open Dialer
Dial **87284
When PhoneUtil Opens Select PDA
Tap Qualacomm USB Setting
Select DM+Modem+ADB
Tap OK
(Remember after flashing to return and put phone back to MTP+ADB)

Verizon SPH-I545 (Galaxy S4)

Dial ##DMMODE#
Tap On

Sprint SPH-L720 (Galaxy S4)

There are two options to dial for diag menu on this phone
##3424# and *#7284#
One will ask for an SPC Code and One will Not
Use the one that does not ask for SPC Code
When PhoneUtil Opens Select PDA
Tap Qualacomm USB Setting
Select DM+Modem+ADB
Tap OK
(Remember after flashing to return and put phone back to MTP+ADB)

for i545, is there other way to enable diag mode?

Tried that code but still I cannot find diag port...

and 7284 & 9090 doesnt work for me at all :\

Viper,you just save me 2-4 hrs of internet surfing to find the diag mode for the US CELL GS4...Thank you again.
