Member: 1895702 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Thats the thing, the Note3 is in the same boat when updated to kitkat..youll also lose the modem. But unlike the s5 the Note3 was introduced with JellyBean software ie jellybean modem, so when you update to kitkat and get the redX you can just flash the Jellybean modem and boom you got service again...... The problem with the s5( and for all the new sprint samsung devices that will follow it ) is that the device was dropped with kitkat software...so there is no jellybean modem to roll back to. The only other option(if you wanna call it that) is pesn matching to the orginal meid of the s5...which isnt foolproof. I wish one of our more experienced flashers here would come up with a new method and share it. |

If you're roaming you get an R or triangle by your signal, not no signal...time to go back to school. The IMEI certification is broke. That's why you have no signal. It's like a Knox trigger...but for the modem. Whenever you change the MEID or IMEI this gets broken. How do you fix it on the N900P? Either downgrade the modem to MI3 OR clear the default EFS and write a super IMEI. A) search for the MI3 modem link. I don't have a copy readily on me B) this won't work for the G900P |
