Has anyone retrieved their msl from a sprint note 3 yet? I am unable to on firmware 4.3 with either GET MY MSL or by methods that used to work in CDMA WS. Any ideas? I will paypal $30 a donation immediately

did you try to use 16 digit password for S3 Sprint.

SOLVED. I got it, and yes the internal 16 dig password works but you still need the MSL, it doesn't give it to you. Its on 4.3 and has different storing methods for the MSL than 4.2.2 did.

Sum1 said that we can flash the MDC baseband from the Sprint S4 on2 the Note 3 and then retrieve the MSL via getprop ril MSL command..
i tried it last night but Odin kept failing..

Doubt it, since they are signed.

I have a friend that works for Sprint, that's how I was able to get it. I can help you on any day but Monday during Eastern time business hours. But be sure to PM me to be sure I get notified of the request...

enable hidden menu & goto MSL menu & enter MIN & MDN . AKEY will not done through this method.

Root Not Required

Here is some steps which i used.

1. enable USB debug
2. connect phone with the pc , it will ask you for permission. click on check box & Ok.
3. run the cmd "adb devices" it will show you (see screenshot)
List of devices attached
0f3ab02x device

if not(offline) pl update your adb tool. search on Google "latest adb for 4.3 or 4.2.2 android".

4. Copy GETMSL.bat into adb folder & run
5. Dial ##3424# enter 123456
6. cmd will not show you any output.
7. goto adb folder & open logcat.txt file (dnt close cmd)
8. search "I/MSL_Checker" press enter 4-5 times & you'll get the MSL code.(see screenshot)

very easy only install soft SPCUtility.apk ...run it you will see
