Cannot downgrade samsung i8160 ace2 from 4.1.2 to 2.3.6 !!! - GSM-Forum

when i downgrade with odin phone freeze on samsung logo and not start , when i flash again with 4.2.1 phone work normal. why? and how to downgrade?

You Have Try Wipe Phone After Flash With 2.3.6 ??? Some Times Work After This

flash with 4.1.2 after root manuement and unlock with z3x

U need go to recovery menu after flash and wipe cache and data.....turn ur phone on with holding volume up + home button. Hold volume up and home button until recovery menu shows up. Then just select wipe data and the wipe cache. (Navigate with volume buttons and select with powerbutton.).

I have same problem... How to downgrade to 2.3.6 version or how to root 4.1.2 ??

Just flash with 2.3.6 firmware after success flash, go into recovery & wipe data & cache.
