Hi, IT'S SW ISSUE.

You think i not have done 1000 test first of find one Working Procedure?... i'm been crazzy for 20 days or more first of solve this issue...and Forum was full of user with same problem....so i understand that can "seem" one Long procedure...but at the end is 5 min.s of work with All File, ans All Steps, (not bypass only one), with procedure writed in first page.....

I not have more in my shop only one of these model but if enter i know how repair w/o problem and with my procedure...if there's other more speed good for you....

Ok so after a couple of test i can confirm that the allumts procedure may not works with some type of lcd/touch controllers.

The other solution that works is:

- Install official 4.4.2 rom of your country with ODIN
- CWM recovery
- Wipe data/cache
- Install CM11 UNOFFICIAL (cm-11-20140721-UNOFFICIAL-meliusltexx)
- Reboot

The startup screen may be black but after few sec. the CM logo appear and the phone are ready to go. Works all except s-flip cover function (on/off screen)

All you are very Lazy i can see...for not download one Big size Rom, BUT SURE WORKING, this: "MegaFireMj2V20XGrandFinale.zip"...and why i do change the first recovery with the TWRP?...easy becouse you must need one FULL CLEAN SYSTEM first of install this above Rom...

If read good and not bypassing Steps...have tryed all you modific have done first of you...but result was always with one issue...or Imei and BB damaged, Wifi not working, "ON/OFF screen not working and many other issues...only after i've done all these steps in guide...have SOLVED all problem but for you one Pilz-Touch and TWRP is the same thingh....this BAD Cyanoged ROM is the same and all mistake for not to have only 15 min.s of pacience and apply all step one by one....

I have lost 20 days of my HARD work for to have this FULL result....but i can see that next time not write any guide becouse at the end my work isn't been valued....

So...please not ask more nothingh about this guide and each one do how want....who want have 100% result not bypass only one step of my guide....good luck

So there's something that your mind won't understand: there are some phones that works only with the other method, we aren't stupid people right? Your procedure probably doesn't work with all galaxy mega of the world, so please take a breath and return to the earth

In my phone CM11 works without any issue

Your procedure WORKS we are gratefull to you but please we can discuss other method for other people in trouble

Indeed the problem was with lcd. That lcd was working only on 4.2.2 with 4.4.2 I was faceing bootloop and downgrade was imposible.

If allumts solution doesn't work the other solution must work: i have a galaxy mega with black screen on boot, allumts solution won't work but CM11 solution works well. Try to install TWRP recovery:

- Install official 4.4.2 rom of your country with ODIN
- Enter CWM recovery and install TWRP recovery posted by allumts and reboot
- Enter TWRP recovery and wipe data/cache/system
- Install CM11 UNOFFICIAL (cm-11-20140721-UNOFFICIAL-meliusltexx)
- Reboot
