For this vers. 2.3.6 you can use any Root method posted in previous page, just use Search button and find all old Root that support this version.

First of send request for Root Use Search Button in this Thread, read previous page itc... We cannot post anytime same Root for each user when is been posted many times, lost only you time and waste Forum space.....and remain w/o answer....

Yes, depending on what ROM version you're on. 4.4.2 and below is rootable easily via towelroot. 4.4.4...not sure yet, but I think we can use the same root method as described below on G900V (Verizon S5). Rooting steps for G900V running on 4.4.4:

1) install towelroot
2) downgrade kernel to NCG via ODIN
3) connect to wifi then run towelroot
4) update firmware NK2 via ODIN
5) install supersu and busybox

You will need to find equivalent kernels for the N900V to give the above steps a try.

A few users at xdadevelopers confirm this root method works on the Verizon Note 4 (SM-N910V), Note Edge (SM-N915V), AT&T Note 4 (SM-N910A), and AT&T Node Edge (SM-N915V my assumption on the AT&T Note Edge). There are some concerns about possible unknown data collection. So use at your own discretion.
