hello to my fellow technicians i have here samsung p1000 galaxy tab and it can't be open because of "TOO MANY PATTERN ATTEMPTS" at the start-up, i would like to ask if, aside from flashing by the use of ODIN flasher, is there any way to format the phone? just like the hard reset (power button+home key button) of any other samsung android phones?

just press volume + then press power on...abt 10 sec then will show the reset screen.
use volume + - to select then home for confirm.

pattern will not format by that method, you will end up with android logo

it works and removes pattern lock also ,tried several times.

not working on new boot except recovery was modified. factory recovery will not.
