S8 , S8 plus and lower models retail demo mode UK

A lot of people have asked about retail demo mode removal of Samsung phones Here’s the step by step method for Samsung.

This is safe method and you don’t have to connect to WiFi till last step.

1. Go to Samsung Retail and put password 5444 then select disable factory reset use password M729Q16K8546.Do factory reset and wait for the phone to turn on.
2. After phones on , pull down the top screen and you can see the settings.
Go to about phone and select build number , tap it 7 times and once developer options is enabled go to Oem unlock in developer options and slide it to on.
Do not worry about sab debugging.
3.Switch the phone off and try to put it in download mode by holding vol - , bixby and power. ( if in case it powers on then go to settings-lock screen and security and allow device manager to on or activate).
4. Once in download mode , root the phone with cf auto root firmware for the corresponding models .
5. After rooting if phone stuck at boot reflash with stock firmware .Make sure the warranty is void and Knox is tripped.
6.power on the phone , connect to WiFi and complete setup. After home screen phone will again try customise or setup Knox .Do not panic it will automatically and your home button will be working and play store app will be there as well.

Hope that helps everyone out there. Also if you need demo removal from other phones ask me.

Also I don’t have solution for Note 8 and am working on it . If anyone has got any ideas or any solution let me know and I will do research to make it simpler.

Regards

I know but ..
1. Custom blocker or MDM mode prevents the phone from going into Download mode.
2.Knox customisation or MDM isn’t removed because it’s there even though you flash factory binary.
So remove that IT policy or security warning phones need to be rooted ... there are who have provided video for the solution without Knox tripping. I have not followed them steps because your phone warranty is already void and if you don’t remove custom blocker it might come back with the next firmware update.

MDM is registered though imei either you changed or trip Knox warranty.

Vol- and power button combination is used to restart the phone and then quickly any combination of 3 buttons.

Also if you read some posts custom blocker has restrictions and security policies which prevents phone from being hard reset to not going into download mode.

bummer

I don't know why I let myself get excited everytime one of these posts pops up in my news feed but I do and subsequently get let down. What about phones you can't access the OS...such as FRP locked phones with MDM

Connect to WiFi after rooting and let the customisation process run and it will disappear automatically and you can check that in settings - lock screen and security-other settings - device administrators.
UMC is not there

hi, is there any news about how to remove knox mdm from g955f without tripping knox.

so at the beginning i couldn't do much because of retail demo apps, but it was easy to get rid of those apps. at that moment i couldn't go to download mode, or do factory reset from recovery menu or from settings in phone. then after one afternoon playing with phone, i managed to go to download mode and i even managed to do factory reset from recovery menu (usually it would just reboot phone displaying the message that phone has mdm).

I always get knox mdm back. also i know that probably i can root the device (because i can go to download mode) but i wanna remove mdm without tripping knox.

does anyone have the solution, i would appreciate it

dont know if this is any use to yous

security patch on my g955f is 1st December 2017
build number is NRF90M.G55FXXU1AQL5
