Member: 2586508 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Device protection in Android Lollipop 5.1 is enabled automatically when the following 2 criteria are met: there is at least one Google account on the device. the lock screen security must be none or swipe. There is no option to disable device protection on the phone. But if any one (or both) of the two conditions is not met, device protection in Android Lollipop 5.1 will be automatically disabled. In other words, you can try any of the following tricks so that you can bypass device protection on Android Lollipop 5.1 BEFORE you do a factory data reset: remove all Google accounts on the phone before factory data reset. set lock screen security to none. set lock screen security to swipe. So, It is very simple to bypass device protection on Android Lollipop 5.1 when you do a factory data reset. Regards Fathima |
