the same here... everything's fine with my i535.. but only works on EDGE.. not 3G... what can I do?... im using stock 4.1.2...

(1) non Verizon sim in status bar (Remove notification `NON-VERIZON SIM`
Using Titanium Backup, an app called Setup wizard 1.0 uninstall it and that should remove the notification `NON-VERIZON SIM`)


(2) for calling u just need to (Press Press *#22745927
"Enable/Disable Hidden Menu" comes up Select "Enable" on the popup, Press *#2263# GSM Band Preference
and select Your network band wait few second for network and then try to make call)

for me apn don't work when go to titanium back and then apn manager pro long press then convert to user app . after finish all this and now open apn manager pro now see

swap apn
insert apn
backup & restore
manage animations
now i seclet ( insert apn ) after put new apn of my network i get this erro problem while creating APN. not sure what i'm doing wrong phone is already rooted

unlock d0ne with this method but i have a big problem in my phone every 2 or 3das later i cannt send call phone show com.application error but incoming and massage ok after reset phn and unlock again all ok have any id for me?(i use 2g sim)

it's not working for the root method, you have to use another rooting method and i get it here ... DroidViews | Root and Install CWM Recovery on Verizon Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 Android 4.1.1/4.1.2

I like the info.. however, my problem is huge for my phone... And now the neverending quest is revealed... The real question::
How can I enable 1700mhz on this phone???
Verizon put a block against it, and there are rewards for the one who discovers how to break it... (xda)
So any ideas how to get 3g 1700mhz working???
