the problem appear if your lcd is not the original one
solution 1 :
replace lcd with original lcd i9205 or i9200 touch will work normally

solution 2 without changing lcd :

1- root your i9200 ver 4.4.2

2- install recovery

3- install any custom rom based 4.2.2

enjoy

note important : there is 2 models of copy lcd one will work normaly with this solution and the other will keep restart until you remove flex touch

cfroot with odin do some research about that and i test it with i9200 not i9205 but i think it must work

Hi, but how downgrade phone from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2?, this downgrade goes to Brick the phone or explain clear wich is this Custom Rom based 4.2.2...for me Brick only device with this downgrade.

Anyway i not downgrade this phone for to have other more big problem after this.
After what i do, Unbrick with Jtag and my problem is the same?, obvius!!!
i think you not have read that the phone is over 4.4.2 fw, no issue for Root it, it's very easy, also can not confirm from SuperSU the Update binary and if want install Normal or from Recovery and if want disabilite Knox.
Anyway isn't it the problem, Z3X can root it w/o problem.

yes i read that the phone have fw 4.4.2 and i know what i am talking about

1- Root your mobile (CF-Auto-Root-melius3g-melius3gxx-gti9200.zip) via odin or for i9205 search about the compatible root that it is easy

2- install recovery (philz_touch_6.25.0-melius3gxx.tar.rar) via odin

3- install custom rom i use (Simons_9200_Touchwiz_Rom_v211_based_on_BMJ2.zip) via memory card

also there is custom rom for i9205 from Simons search about it

note important :1- Do not disable knox

2- maybe you need update SU via market

3- as i said some model of copy lcd will not work with solution and keep restart until you remove the touch flex from lcd

i think now it is clear and about downgrade with custom rom it will not brick your phone but i will not take any responsibility

all done and enjoy

Ok bro i've an Patch Modem for this version, but i think real problem is fault of the customer that have buyed him this Touch, i use only ORIGINAL part for these problems.
Anyway is one temporary solution becouse as you said can be not work the same, sorry but not see more Thanks Button, sure is disabled but not understand WHY, ok the next,

i have three of these phones, nearly new from the box. after change language through odin by someone, tough not working. tried several flashes 4.4.2 but no luck. so i took the risk by downgrading using I9200XXUAMEA_I9200OJVAME3_I9200XXUAMEA this flash. now touch is working but imei null. upgradede to 4.4.2 and touch stopped working. any ideas and have a nice day.

Use ORIGINAL TOUCH/LCD becouse not there's solution definitive if Update FW with OTA or Odin from Original Samsung Fw.

I've changed connector lcd/touch in the pcb then replace touch/lcd with New ORIGINAL one, all is working good.

why should i change the screen since it is original. already opened a new i9200 from the box with software I9200XXUDNF3 4.4.2 and installed board but touch not working. with version 4.22 touch is working and imei is null. it is still software problem. have a nice day
