Samsung Knox is used to lock down devices either if it's a display unit or if it's being used in a corporation. You are trying to bypass a security feature which samsung have invested millions in... Every locked devices with knox makes a connection to the particular corporation or store to check if it has been removed from their system. If you want a working device, root it and use a contactless debit card, also you can hide your root and online banking may work. |
I don't remember exactly, but there was a way with one of the J series phones. (j530 i guess). You had to flash combination, then normal firmware but without few partitions, then try to to update software from settings, and when you press "update" a message should pop out, something like "Device registered". And then just flash normal firmware. Try to google it maybe. |
Ok I found it. It worked for A320, so it might work for A520. For A3's. Download correct combination file. Extract cm bin and wrap it in a tar file using 7zip. Put phone in download mode. Flash only the tar file you created in AP on Odin. Phone reboots, verification failed message will come up just click reset. Device will reset. Once device has rebooted go through the setup. You will notice knox enrolment will be bypassed. Go to settings of the phone and navigate to Software Update. Press download updates manually. Hopefully a message appears at the bottom of the device saying 'Device Registered'. Allow the phone to download the OTA update and then install it. Upon reboot the Knox Enrolment will be removed premanently and knox apps will still work. (samsung pay, s health etc) If you need anymore help just message me. |
