Member: 2556934 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | SGH-1527 Is Downgrade OS from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 possible? To make a long story short, I bricked my Mega it was running firmware version 4.2.2. When I took it to the cell repair store they put 4.4.2 in it. Now I cant use my SVOX voice engine because it force closes on this version. Also a lot of other apps don't run correctly on it. Now they say that a downgrade is not possible. I thought flashing was an overwrite? When I redo my windows pc I would format the drive and use norton ghost to load an image. I thought that's what flashing was? Can it be fixed back to 4.2.2 SAMSUNG-SGH-1527★Android version 4.4.2★Baseband version I527UCUBNE7★Kernel version 3.4.0-1711751 dpi(5)SWDD5017#l Wed May 21 16:24:32 KST 2014★Build number KOT49H.I527UCUBNE7★SE for Android status★Enforcing SEPF_SAMSUNG-SGH-I527_4.4.2_0016 Wed May 21 16:24:12 2014 ★Secure boot status Type: Samsung |

I said to read up on your model and see if it could be downgraded without hard bricking the device.... Many Samsung phones cannot be firmware downgraded... I don't know all the models that allow downgrading... That's why you have to research. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk |
