new method out to unlock sprint galaxy using upload mode.

if you have it hit me up. sick of flashing combo files to phone to unlock on 8.0, ****s old.

not sure why you're asking me for s9 sprint method. Nowhere in my post did I infer I knew how to do this new method. afaik nobody can do sprint s9 which is why you don't see it advertised anywhere.

have had it done for me by other techs. they kick it to upload mode remotely, 4 minutes later no more sim lock. no flashing files, no combo, just upload mode.

Well you probably don't see that method anywhere because it doesn't exist lol. Upload mode is typically as its name implies, to upload from device to PC.. Typically used to upload logs to pc over usb or to sdcard when system crashes and fails to boot..

You sure youre not mistaking download mode for upload mode? Either way, I've never heard of or seen that done before nor is anything I could find on the web close to that in the years I have been on Sammy devices lol

If you find any info let me know, would be very interesting if that is true.

im assuming its cert read by usb, wipe efs, write cert. the thing that stuck out is upload mode. unlock ran similar as to how tmobile runs on z3x...from my perspective. phone reboot twice, debug levels changed, upload mode, back to normal mode, phone unlocked. was n950u binary 4 sprint.

i suppose if it reads device as modem.. ive never seen or heard it being done tho but i am not big in sim unlocking efs stuff

I had my S9+ Sprint unlock via upload mode as well ... 2-3 reboots weird yellow letter on top left corner and upload mode and reboot to normal state and was done with in 5-10 minutes ...

Never went into download mode at all

i actually saw a few sites unlocking via upload mode lol.. u were right

one was with this tool but it connects via usb and forces cp crash which causes it to boot into upload mode.. must besome sort of trickery with the crash that gives it more capabilities

i can do it now, i have tool. its reading cert from crash is all, then wiping efs and rewriting cert. tool was not cheap.

the imei gurus tool can do the same thing. set cp debug level. force upload mode write cert etc. should be able to do it with that somehow

all copies of IG tool in wild do not have read cert enabled.

whats going on? chimera already release the unlock for S9+ from Sprint by credits today. Please Z3X Team do something abount this, chimera its not so good like you. I dont want to do the unlock with any other tool. work work work......
