hi
I have Sony experia St18i which have a very strange problem.
phone is working very fine till I lock the phone with lock button.
when I lock the phone screen goes blank and I am able to do call's and screen touch is also working fine.when I do not lock the phone it's work perfectly.I can't understand what to do.

try to update with flashtool.
if u have protector on it. remove it.

Updating with flashtool solves your problem, or what is the true solution.

I have the same problem.

Flashtool, custom kernels, different stock and custom ROMs... doesnt solve it.

I've seen schematic pictures which fuse to jump or what to clean, but the difference is mine has backlight, and after some time the phone will start normal (with screen good and usable). I can work weeks on it without going to deep_sleep (power button). Also I don't have equipment to rehot ic, check fuse and no technical knowledge for hardware.

I took a lot of dmesg and logcats and i can see errors in kernel but one unusual line that caught my eye is: <simple_remote_pf simple_remote_pf.0: simple_remote_pf_button_handler - Button callback not registered> when starting xperia ray and when pressed power button while its on.

If you need more info just ask.
