Member: 1467435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | x10 Mini Pro - not completing boot I have a de-branded, rooted and unlocked u20a X10 Mini-Pro (the version with the keyboard) . It is NOT the same as a Mini, it is NOT the same as an X10. They only look similar. I have been using it quite happily for a few months now BUT On Sunday evening the phone battery completely discharged, not much of a problem I would have thought - just connect it to the wall-charger and wait until the red light goes green - so I left it there for a while (it normally charges in a bit over an hour) I removed the phone and applied some pressure to the power on/off button The phone buzzed a bit (which is normal) the screen goes black for a few seconds (which is normal) 'Sony Ericsson' appears on the screen for a second (normal) then gets brighter (still normal) the splash screen splashes (this always happens) and the green logo with Sony Ericsson underneath appears (always does this) The logo and name stay there and the phone is unresponsive to anything (COMPLETELY NOT NORMAL!!) The power button won't turn the phone off - so I have to remove the battery Neither SEUS nor PC Companion are any use The Update Service says my phone is up-to-date, PCC needs the phone user to 'mount' the phone to connect and the 'repair function' is a joke (it says that "the phone software is up to date please try again later") So in desperation I ask here what my options are to get the phone to complete the boot. There are about 5 billion ways to repair/hard re-set the other phones in the xperia series but stuff-all info for me and my little phone |
