For your problem, the HDBox is exact the best solution. You can operate the Android phone even with the broken touch. And transfer the info such contact. Here is their product link--http://hdb-team.com/product/hdbox/

Besides those, the box work on iphone and iMac also.

Forgot to mention that HDBox can also pre-auth your computer to your phone.

Meaning that after you use HDBoxirect Control method to activate the ADB in phone, you can also use HDBox:Pre-Auth option to pre-load your computer public ADB key into your phone.

So, when you connect your phone to computer you will be able to use ADB directly without having to tap on the phone screen, which in your case it is imposible.

Hi, if on the phone you have important data and do not want to lose it proposes to connect the adapter with micro usb to usb then connect an ordinary mouse from the computer, the screen appears the cursor and you can unlock your phone using mouse movements on the screen then after unlocking run debugging phone you are connecting to a computer and do a backup of the entire phone.
