Lg optimus g e970 unlocked not detecting international sim cards - GSM-Forum

Hi...
Can anyone pls help me to fix my issue. I got an unlocked at&t lg optimus g from usa. But when I inserted any sim cards here in india it shows still no sim icon in the notification bar. When checked the network band with the hidden menu it still shows operating band as 850. But in india we use the band 900. I used 3845#*970#
I will be great to you guys if someone help me to make it work.

i think you should flash new firmware

it is motherboard problem.

on ebay .in one seller selling e970 mother board , may be it helps you.

Did the problem fix..my optimus g e970 still shows a no sim icon in the taskbar and the phone is stock ics

Hi...is this issue resolved? I purchased LG Optimus G AT&T phone..unlocked it then brought it to india now it is not recognizing the Airtel sim. Please help.
