This is how to do it on Samsung devices " 1- install twrp recovery in your s6/s7 2- boot into recovery: vol+ home and power at the same time 3- Go to Advanced -> Terminal Command -> hit "Select" 4- type these comands dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/sda11 dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/sda13 5- do a factory reset with the recovery" |

Member: 2699996 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | If you have the unlocked version of the US996 then you can unlock the bootloader via fastboot and flash TWRP. If it ends up being the US Cellular version of the US996 (lord knows why they were both given the same model number) then LG won't allow you to unlock the bootloader... and the process gets much more complicated after that. If you're able to flash TWRP then you can also flash Aroma File Manager which allows you full root access to the system files as well as gives you a command prompt. You should be able to delete the files locking you out from there. I can't post links yet so if you need any of them or any help just let me know. |
