Nexus 5 driver issue windows 8 - GSM-Forum

I installed both of your drivers listed and neither worked.
I have tried every driver package available, but the phone will
not register a com port. I am using windows 8 and I sometimes have driver issues, but this is the first time I've not been able to figure out how to get com port detected. I have installed LG 3.8.1 USB drivers, ran them in windows 7 compatibility mode, installed LG ADB drivers, and still no com port.
Please help.

I finally got the phone to detect and enabled drivers, but now it won't switch to serial port. I can't figure out why it won't switch over other than Windows 8 is terrible when it comes to driver support. This phones drivers are all over the place. Here's the log:
