Whatsapp no longer compatible with the iPhone 3G - GSM-Forum

Whatsapp is no longer compatible with the iPhone 3G after upgrading to version 2.8.7.

As we can see in the application information, Whatsapp now requires iOS 4.3 to run. The iPhone 3G, as we all know, can only have up to iOS 4.2.1 which means that inevitably stop working ... for now those with the old version are often a message appears asking to update the app, something impossible in the iPhone 3G. It's about time that one day you can not log in using older versions of the App

This decision probably angry over a 3G iPhone user who still wanted to continue to use this terminal as Whatsapp was one of the few Apps that still worked relatively well in this model of iPhone, despite its slowness.

The application takes weeks and so (from the 7th of December) but judging by the messages we receive from users asking for iPhone 3G Case, there were still many who were not aware of this little detail than Whatsapp, very subtly have forgotten to mention in the changelog of the App (beyond the iOS version, which hardly anyone checks when updating).

[Trick/fix] if you can't install Apps on older IOS like 4.1 from Appstore.!!!!
