samsung clone i9500 mtk android 4.4.4 need help for rooting. Here is some info with mtk droid root and tool : cpu : MT6572(MT6589 is Fake!).
Build number : ALPS.JB3.MP.V1.8.
Build date UTC : 20131129-030046
Android v: 4.4.4
Kernel v: 3.4.5(whl@server2) (gcc version 4.6 x-google 201020106 (prerelease) (GCC) #1 SMP Fri nov 29 10:58:14 CST 2013. I tried to root with volcano box but no luck. Vroot support upto 4.x.3 so i didnot tried it. I want to root and rebuild imei . Please help Nokian Care and other masters.

which device you use bro?

it is easy to root with many device.
or you can use Mobogenie

zroot , vroot which is suitable to root 4.4.4. Tried with volcano but no luck.

Dude... I have the same phone with me. But installed os is Android 4.2.2. I wonder if I can flash 4.4.4 on my system... Can you please share your ROM here...

Are you having issues with the carrier provider network connection, unable to find carrier?
Rooting the S4 ******* is easy, you can either use mobo tools or use mtk tools wich is must better.
You can also change the IMEI with mtk tools.

But if after that you still dont get any carrier provider network connection, you are in the same boat has me :/
Still trying to find a solution for that.
I have tried everything, enginneer mode and went to gprs after factory reset to write imei didnt work, the null or old imei was still there. Unable to attach imei to sim card; tried some of the apk in the web for region unlock, unable to retrieve CSC file message; tried to access service mode, unable to access it, searched through the sys/app with root explorer unable to find such file; tried to find the service mode apk in the web, found one but its not certified so its unabble to be installed (problably a fake/virus); also tried to flash it but the results where grim. There isn't any download mode, phone without battery seems to reboot every second, sp flash tools are unable to identify the phone, Odin even less.

I think I have a nice notepad instead of phone *******

Any assistance to resolve my gsm problem is welcome, has long it works with this type of phone.
