. Power off the phone, press and hold volume down button, press power button.
. Wait for the "triangle ! / Android" screen then release the volume down button
. Tap lower right-hand corner of Touch Screen
. Navigate on-screen menu to select “Wipe” (data/factory reset) and Press OK
. Navigate on-screen menu to select “Reboot System Now” and Press OK
. Wait for device to reboot

Keep in mind, when using this feature; everything is deleted. Nothing stored on the MicroSD will be affected.

To hard reset this model:

1. Remove and reinsert battery.
2. Press power button for 3 seconds
3. Press and hold volume down button (before Motorola logo appears!)
4. Phone should now show warning triangle - press volume up
5. Use volume down button to select 'wipe data/factory reset' and press power button.
6. Scroll down to Yes using volume down button and select with power button.

Job done!
