Motorola CLIQ XT (MB501) Hard Reset:

1. Turn the power off. If your Motorola CLIQ XT is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Press and hold the Power and Camera buttons
3. Release the Camera button when prompted
4. Press and hold the Volume Down key
5. A yellow exclamation will appear on the display. Wait until a menu with options will appear.
6. Using the touch screen select Factory Reset and press OK.

That's all.

How do I perform a hard reset?
--------------------------------

1.Press the menu key and turn on the phone.

2.Press the 'camera' key and 'power' key simultaneously and hold till the Moto batwing screen goes away and you will see a message on the screen to release the 'camera' key.

3.User will see option to get into recovery mode.

4.Press Volume down key to get into recovery mode.

5.Once in the recovery mode, tap on the right lower corner of the touchscreen(might have to tap a few times).

6.'Motorola system recovery' menu will come up.

7.User can use the mini pad or tough screen and select wipe data/factory reset to do a factory reset.

8.Select 'ok' at the lower left corner once the intended menu item has been selected.

9.Use the mini pad to scroll up and select reboot system now

10.Press OK

Question

How to put on MB501 Motorola flash mode or boot, he just gets caught in the logo "M" after he tried to make a flash error and gave the Scout, and now will not accept any flash, just displays the same error.

SCout 1.33. Flashing phone MB501
flex "USAZEP01TMOBNA018.0R"
with firmware "secure-MB501_0.12.11_1.32.24-super*******-customer.pcf" RAM DL 5.13...
Loading file "secure-MB501_0.12.11_1.32.24-super*******-customer.pcf"... OK
Switching to flash mode...
Unable to retrieve phone interface
Switching to flash mode...
Flash completed with error/warning: Flash library error 39
