XT1548 CDMA / GSM bands Enable

Motorola G Third Generation 2015 (MOTXT1548)
Verizon CDMA network or Virgin Mobile
Codename: Motorola Surnia or Osprey
This is a temporary procedure, with each system upgrade, will have to re-apply the changes.
Enable USB debugging and accessed via adb (Android Debug Bridge)

Access via ADB
Access via Android Debug Bridge is quite simple, executing:

./adb devices
List of devices attached
TA104098CI device

Simply enter a console terminal:
adb shell
We're really not unlock anything, the team is native quad and comes with SIM unlocked, right ?, roaming, Verizon has begun to allow their customers to use their equipment in GSM networks outside the United States.

They simply indicate that the terminal will use GSM networks for our team, for this:
1. We turn off the terminal and enter a SIM card (micro-SIM) from the telephone operator of our taste (in my case: Movistar Venezuela).
2.Colocamos equipment in Airplane mode:

We entered a shell of ADB:
adb shell

And execute the following 3 commands:
settings put global preferred_network_mode 9
settings put global preferred_network_mode1 9
settings put global preferred_network_mode2 9

Each is a separate command; the mean, each enabled in the "preferred networks" each of the modes (CDMA, LTE and GSM), allowing look at the phone configuration.

NOTE: As I stated above, this is a "temporary" step, since not using root does not rewrite the settings.db and therefore, there remains a phone upgrade.
We turn off the computer
We turn on the power and ready.

To verify, you can request the information menu:

* # * # 4636 # * # *

(4636 = I N F O)

And there, in "Network information" seeking radio mode by default (Default: TD-SCDMA, LTE, CDMA, EvDO GSM / WCDMA)

Note: If the menu info is not working (I have reported some cases) can go to Google Play Market and download an application called "Network" (Philipp Mangelow) which is simply a shortcut to INFO menu.

Note 2: Digitel 4G LTE network is incompatible with the bands of this equipment.

Note 3: As a team VERIZON, the DB is incomplete APNs must configure the NPC (s) operator (s) to be used in the terminal to access the data plan.

surnia_cdma root @: / #

And there run:

pm clear com.android.providers.telephony

Thus, they are clean configurations phone, restart the terminal
