Hi,

1. Power on the phone
2. Connect USB cable
3. Click Unlock

It's good to have backup of security areas

Just reinstall your software or upgrade it and this will reset your counter. I tested this a few minutes ago with Lumia 800 locked to Vodafone Spain and it is 100% working.

wrong , i tried with lumia 900 and it doesnt reset the counter , i had 4 tries left and its still 4 tries left after flashing .
