Lumia 800 vibrates repetedly. does not start

Hello.
First post in this forum. I am a electronics engineer working with plasma and LED TV repair, but never smartphones. I would need some help from you guys.
I was shutting down my Lumia 800 yesterday, when I should bring it on again it just did not come on. Battery symbol showed about 50% battery when turning off. When attach the charger, one long vibrate occours and after a few seconds, a short vibrate. Nothing on screen.
It seems it wont charge, since charger is all cool. (ofcourse tried several chargers)
I cant access the phone through Zune.
When I attache the phone to my PC , WIndows start looking for D NOKIA drivers.

Could this be a battery issue?
Or will the unit needs reflashing due to a corrupt memory location?
Please help.

I really appreciate your fast response.
Could you specify a bit more what I should do. I don't know what nokia suite refers to.
Thanks a lot

I tried to connect to the phone with Zune, do not succeed

The local smartphone repair centre tried a new battery and a new screen. With no help.
Obviosuly it needs to be re-flashed.
I found "Nokia care suite" - is this what I need?

Anyone. Please!
Before I buy a new phone, I must know, is there something I can do to reflash it?
I downloaded "nokia care suite" and that application can find the phone, but status is "In flash mode"
But I cannot find a way to really flash it in that program. Please!!! I really appreciate it.
